DISRUPTING GENDER AND LEADERSHIP
In March 2019, Maria Beebe provided a presentation called DISRUPTing Gender and Leadership at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Starting with the question, "Is there life after 50?" Mari shared her musings about her “third chapter” in life. Her third chapter included developing: (1) knowledge partnerships among South African and American universities, (2) networks related to telecommunications policy and regulation with African selected universities, and (3) alliances for the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) for higher education in Afghanistan.
